From Intern to Full-Time Team Member: My Journey at FrieslandCampina

As a QC analyst at FrieslandCampina in Veghel, I’m responsible every day for ensuring the quality of all the ingredients produced here. I do this through various analyses that make sure our products meet the highest standards.

My journey with FrieslandCampina started back in 2019 during my first internship. Based on my interests and skills, my teachers selected FrieslandCampina as the ideal place for me – and they were right. That first internship was a perfect match and quickly led to a second one. Once I had earned my diploma, I didn’t hesitate for a moment and immediately applied for a position at FrieslandCampina.

What drives me is the opportunity to produce reliable results so our customers can enjoy the best possible products. At QC, we work with a wide variety of products and analyses. No two days are the same, which keeps the work dynamic and interesting.

What I find most inspiring is our involvement in a range of different projects. This not only gives us insight into developments at the Veghel site, but also provides valuable information about process optimization and product development.

FrieslandCampina has an open and transparent communication style. Colleagues are always ready to support each other and share knowledge. This creates a workplace where everyone feels heard and encouraged to share ideas. What I really appreciate about my work at FrieslandCampina is the wide variety it offers. You can choose to specialize in specific analyses, or you can take on the challenge of learning the entire QC lab and mastering all the different analyses. I’ve chosen the latter—continuously expanding my knowledge and skills.
