As a QC analyst at FrieslandCampina in Veghel, Mitchel is responsible for ensuring the quality of all ingredients through a range of analyses. "The unique QC lab, complete with its own microscopy facility, provides ample opportunities to be involved in various projects, giving valuable insights into processes and product development," says Mitchel. The variety of analyses and the broad spectrum of products make the work dynamic and engaging. Mitchel’s journey at FrieslandCampina began in 2019 with his first internship. "My lecturers recommended FrieslandCampina as the ideal internship for me, and they were absolutely right," says Mitchel. That initial internship was a perfect fit, quickly leading to a second, and ultimately to a permanent role after graduation. From that point on, joining the team full-time was a natural step to continually safeguard the quality of products and processes.

"The most inspiring aspect is our involvement in various projects, as they not only provide insight into developments at the Veghel site but also offer valuable input for process optimisation and product development," explains Mitchel.
