Within Operations & Manufacturing, there are various sub-departments, including processing departments, packaging departments, engineering, and maintenance. These teams work closely with other departments such as R&D, quality control, continuous improvement, and supply chain to ensure seamless production and distribution of products. Our team is responsible for managing the production processes in our factories worldwide, with continuous collaboration to improve productivity and efficiency.

FrieslandCampina has achieved significant success through the establishment of new factories and the implementation of technical solutions that have greatly enhanced production efficiency. For instance, the construction of our new factories in the Netherlands, Indonesia, and Malaysia has not only increased production capacity but also contributed to reducing production costs through the use of energy-efficient technologies. These projects directly support our strategic focus on sustainability and cost optimization.

“Our team supports each other and that’s what makes me enjoy going to work every day,” says Leonie, packaging operator. Since joining FrieslandCampina in Lochem in 2024, she has truly felt at home in the butter factory. The strong collaboration with colleagues and the positive atmosphere make her excited to come to work every day.

Alongside her daily work, Leonie is following several training programmes, including forklift training and further development as a packaging operator. “I’m proud of the clear career opportunities and growth possibilities offered here,” adds Leonie.
