The Operational Excellence and Digital Supply Chain Team consists of ~65 colleagues across the globe, working in 3 subclusters:
- Functional Excellence:
- Manufacturing Excellence: designing and implementing the Our Way of Working (OWOW) framework for our plants
- Planning Excellence: a.o. realizing the Inventory and Service Control Tower & co-design the Anura planning processes & extend OWOW to Planning
- Logistics Excellence: a.o. implementing the Cost-2-Serve program and the Ocean Freight Control Tower & extend OWOW to Logistics
- Digital Supply Chain:
- Unlock the power of data, by creating digital solutions to deliver actionable insights to scale in our entire Supply Chain.
- Teams for End2End topics and for functional topics, such as Make+R&D and Procurement, Planning & Logistics.
- Managing Transformation Programs:
- Anura: New tooling and processes for Demand & Supply Planning
- Performance+ : Transforming our Supply Chain to become competitive on cost & cash and making our Supply Chain less complex.

OWOW: transforming lives and operations
OWOW focusses on making our shopfloor operations more efficient. This is done via a structured approach, moving plant by plant. Yet the true testament to our success lies in the happiness of our shopfloor heroes. Take San Pedro, Philippines, for example—weekend shifts are a thing of the past, allowing our teams to cherish precious moments with their families instead of working overtime.
Performance+: driving excellence
Performance+ is aimed at optimizing and transforming our Supply Chain to achieve best-in-class performance and boost competitiveness. Within the first 2 years, we’ve achieved over 500 EURM in Supply Chain savings and freed up more than 160 EURM in cash.
Cost-2-Serve: empowering commercial teams
Our Cost-2-Serve program equips our commercial teams with the tools to engage in fact-based discussions about customer order behavior. This leads to innovative negotiation strategies and collaborative improvement plans, fostering mutual success in our markets.
