Our team in Borculo is looking for a new proactive manage to lead the production of excipients to be used in pharmaceutical drug production (Inhalation and tabletting excipients). Are you a people manager with a technical background, and with affinity to lead a production team? Then this is your opportunity to join! As a production manager you are responsible to run, maintain and improve our production process. You lead and work the production team consisting of 8-12 operators, working during the office hours.

- HBO/University degree in (Chemical) Engineering, Food Technology or comparable
- Several years of experience in food-/pharma industry is strongly preferred
- Management experience in a production environment
- Affinity with Lean/Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement systems
- Ability to coach, inspire and develop people
- High level of assertiveness and ownership
- Fluent in Dutch; sufficient in English
- Pre: experience in SAP system

- Primarily responsible for all production activities at the Borculo facility
- Meeting production targets according to planned forecast within a safe (SHE), sustainable and efficient running pharma plant
- Developing and maintaining production forecast considering all related key parameters (raw materials, forecast, logistic handling etc.) and in close alignment with the departments Maintenance and Supply Chain
- Maintaining a smooth and stable production process
- Ensuring sufficient availability of raw and packaging materials through an efficient planning and scheduling process
- Development of an operational strategy in line with the company strategy
- Translation of the strategy into a SMART formulated year-plan
- Analysis, development and implementation of improvements in line with the applicable quality and SHE standards.
- Efficient and quality minded management of the production facility
- Monitoring of production processes by means of Key Performance Indicators and Shop Floor Management Systems
- Ensure appropriate documentation in a regulated environment (e.g. work instructions, SOPs, batch records)
- Interface function and coordinator for internal and external audits
- Development and motivational leading of the teams (Shift leaders and logistic operator) to deliver qualitative and self-starting performance (steer, coach and train)
- Strive together with your teams to a better performance every day
- Proactive and close collaboration within local Management Team and other (international) colleagues to contribute to overall business objectives
