IT4OT Network Engineer
As an IT4OT Network Engineer, you will design, manage, and secure—together with our service providers—the network infrastructure that powers our critical manufacturing and control systems. You bring deep expertise in OT networking, understand specialized industrial protocols, and help drive the convergence of IT and OT standards. Your work ensures safety, reliability, and uninterrupted production across our global operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who combines solid network expertise with a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset. You will help us build secure and resilient operational networks, ensure compliance with industry standards, and future-proof our infrastructure. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will guide teams and influence stakeholders across both IT and OT domains.
You bring:
- 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of network and connectivity design (segmentation, VLANs, security zones)
- Familiarity with solution architecture standards, ITIL processes, and IT delivery models
- Understanding of OT/IT integration, cloud services, and related security implications
- Knowledge of industrial standards (IEC 62443, NIS2) and OT security best practices
- Expertise in industrial networking protocols and interoperability (e.g., STP, RSTP, MRP within Siemens/Cisco environments)
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, SIEM)
- Strong skills in change & configuration management, documentation, and audit readiness
- Awareness of ICT dependencies within manufacturing environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

We are looking for an experienced IT4OT LAN Specialist to implement and secure robust network solutions for our factories.
In this role, you will:
Project Support for Network Changes
Coordinate and support OT LAN-related changes and improvements with managed service providers and vendors. You will act as the subject matter expert for OT networking, ensuring designs align with standards and security requirements.
Security & Continuity
Implement strong security measures, manage disaster recovery and backups, and safeguard data and hardware.
Service Quality & Standards
Ensure IT/OT requirements are met, maintain service quality, and help develop standards and documentation.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Collaborate with IT, OT, Digital, and external partners to transition from legacy OT LAN environments to a standardized, secure, centrally managed landscape.
Project & Change Management
Lead or support infrastructure projects, plan improvements, manage budgets and risks, and contribute to IT/OT convergence.
Innovation & Lifecycle Management
Research new technologies, recommend improvements, and manage lifecycle strategies for OT network components.
