The Shift Manager at Dutch Lady Processing is responsible for supervising and coordinating all production activities during their shift to ensure the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of milk processing and dairy product manufacturing. This role involves leading the production team, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, optimizing workflows, and meeting production targets.

- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in any food manufacturing industry, with a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in dairy food processing and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to operate food processing machinery, including conducting troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and cleaning.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices such as GMP, HACCP, ATEX, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), HIRADC, LOTO/LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Location:
Work is typically based in a milk processing plant or dairy production facility. These environments are clean, warm, and require strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
Team & Colleagues:
You will work closely with production line operators, quality assurance staff, maintenance technicians, and warehouse/logistics personnel. You will report directly to the Process Manager or Plant Manager. Collaboration, coordination, and clear communication are essential for successful shift handovers and overall operational efficiency.

Oversee quality control processes to ensure all products meet regulatory and company standards, promptly identifying and troubleshooting operational issues to minimize downtime.
Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to enhance team performance, support skill development, and conduct effective shift handovers with clear communication across teams and management.
Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives, manage raw material inventory, and ensure a steady supply to the filling lines while optimizing productivity and reducing waste.
