Supply Network Planner
Are you a natural problem-solver who enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders? Join FrieslandCampina as a Supply Network Planner for our Professional B2B Business Unit! We’re looking for someone to step into this 1-year temporary role to cover for a team member who will be contributing to a major IT project.
The Supply Network Planner is responsible for creating the optimal supply network plan for their product portfolio. The supply network plan is based on the latest demand, planning parameters, inventory levels in order to realize the requested performance while maximizing value for FrieslandCampina.
You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the business, including Production, Quality Control, Sales, Demand Planning, and Order Fulfilment. The Encapsulates planning team focuses on planning products like non-dairy creamers, fat powders, and foamers for Food & Beverage customers worldwide. Production takes place in our facilities in Meppel (Netherlands), Lippstadt (Germany), Salatiga (Indonesia), Manilla (Philippines), and with a contract manufacturer in China.
This role can be based in either Amersfoort or Meppel—whichever suits you best.
Ce ne dorim
- Bachelor (HBO) or Master (WO) degree
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of production and logistics in an FMCG / Food environment
- Knowledge of Planning Systems (preferred SAP R/3, APO DP/SNP, BW)
- Affinity with working in an international team
- A problem solver, who thinks in opportunities and challenges
- The ability to take decisions based on limited or ambiguous information
- A strong drive towards customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Enthusiastic, able to motivate and engage with colleagues, management and customers
- Able to hold business discussions in Dutch and English
- You will travel 1 day a week to Meppel if Amersfoort is your office location or 1 day a week to Amersfoort if Meppel is your office location.

- Depending on your experience, the salary for this role lies between €3.811 - €5.172 based on fulltime (38 hours);

- Supply Network Planning & Optimization.
- Prepare and optimize the operational and tactical (1-18 months) planning for the Lippstadt product portfolio.
- Prepare and optimize continuously the plan by balancing demand, inventories and production and packaging capacities.
- Identify constraints and opportunities as input for S&OP. Participate in the tactical supply review as part of the S&OP process. Perform complex scenario analyses and support financial decision making for own scope of planning.
- Discuss plant performance, maintenance plans and capacities with your plant periodically.
- Collaboration with Make, Sales, Source, Plan and Deliver Collaborate and communicate constructively with the relevant stakeholders.
- Project Management Lead and/or participate in assigned projects (e.g. New Product Developments, Change controls, Business Intelligence, Continuous improvement) within the Customer Supply Chain.
- Continuous Improvement: Processes, procedures and systems Improve and optimize planning, initiate and come up with new approaches for procedures, processes and tools taking into account the full supply chain.

This role is part of the Supply team within the Customer Supply Chain of our Professional Business Unit (B2B). The Encapsulates Supply team consists of 8 employees based in Amersfoort, Meppel, Lippstadt & Salatiga (Indonesia), working as Supply Planners or Locations Leads for the factories Meppel, Lippstadt, Salatiga and external manufacturers. The S&OP and Supply team is a talented and driven team with a growth mindset.
