Controlling Planning & Reporting Analyst
At our Head Office in Amersfoort (the Netherlands), we are looking for a high potential Planning & Reporting Analyst.
In this role you are responsible for the consolidated reporting of the Business Group Specialised Nutrition (actual, forecast), BG cost controlling, financial KPI reporting and preparation of Business Group management presentations for the Executive Board. You will participate in leading projects in an international business environment. You need to deliver timely, adequate, and reliable management information (reports and analysis) in line with corporate guidelines. You work in close alignment with stakeholders at the Business Group level, in the local Operating Companies worldwide and in the financial shared service centers in the Hungary and Malaysia. The role provides exposure to local and business group Finance teams and Finance Directors and is ideal to gain knowledge on global financial processes and international trade within FrieslandCampina as well as different business cultures.

- Minimum of 5 years of business control/analyst experience within a FMCG or similar company
- Being able to plan, execute and deliver on time. Results oriented.
- Willing to dive into the detail (strong analytical nature) but able to step back and see the bigger picture
- Communication skills and able to work within different cultures
- Proactive and have can-do mentality

Your main accountabilities and responsibilities are:
- Month-end close process for Business Group Specialised Nutrition including review and analysis of OpCo financial performance
- Responsible for financial control and cost controlling of Business Group staff entities in the Netherlands and Singapore, working closely with FSSC HU and FSSC KL
- Preparation of Quartely Business Reviews to the Executive Board for the consolidated Business Group results in collaboration with commercial teams (Actual & Outlook)
- Analysis and reporting of financial KPIs: sales – and gross profit variance analysis, turnover analysis per segment (product, brand and country), review and analysis of SG&A and Corporate charges, working capital and cash flow monitoring
- Coordinate Forecast process for Business Group, Frex (Dutch Supply Hubs) and staff entities
- Provide and support the MT of Business Group Specialised Nutrition with relevant management information and business analyses to support and optimize decision-making and the financial performance of the BG and OpCo’s
- Provide and support the Group auditor with the relevant “prepared by client” management – and accounting information, analyses and breakdown of material deviations of financial statements per HY and FY
- Perform ICF control and control effectiveness within your entities
- Participation, implementation and execution of (ad hoc) projects in an international business environment
- Responsible for and main contact point for PowerBI for BG staff entities and users
- Development, implementation, maintenance and optimization of procedures, instructions, systems and tools, in line with Corporate guidelines resulting in effective and efficient financial processes.
