James’s growth at FrieslandCampina has been shaped by ownership, collaboration, and a mindset of continuous learning. Over time, he has taken on bigger challenges and delivered real impact. One of his proudest moments is leading Project Lotus, a payroll transformation that shifted the company from weekly to semi-monthly payouts. The change reduced pay runs from 76 to 24 annually, improved accuracy, and made life easier for employees; all without any disruptions in pay.
Beyond Project Lotus, James has been involved in shaping how HR operates globally. As part of the PS&S transition and the Evolve project, he helped introduce better systems and ways of working, gaining firsthand experience in global HR transformation. He’s grateful for how FrieslandCampina creates space for growth through mentorship, meaningful projects, and a culture that encourages ideas and ownership.
