“Guiding change is my strength, precisely because it is about people,” Daniela explains. Technology and systems can support the business, but they only work when people feel confident using them. “We can implement the best systems, but if people cannot work with them effectively, they will never create real impact,” she adds. That is why Daniela works closely with teams across the world to make processes not only more efficient, but also practical and easy to use in everyday work.

Building trust across teams
Change always brings reactions, and that is exactly what Daniela finds most interesting about her work. Every factory, team and colleague approaches change differently. “What motivates me is earning people’s trust and guiding them through those transitions,” Daniela shares. “It gives me real satisfaction to see someone go from needing five days to complete a task to just two. That is impact to me,” she says.
One example is an international project supporting the Delhi Factory in the United States. Together with colleagues in India and New York, Daniela helped clean up and standardise the entire master data process. “We were spread across different time zones and cultures, yet we managed to move forward as one team,” Daniela recalls. The approach developed during that project is now applied more broadly within FrieslandCampina.

Growing together
Daniela’s strength lies in connecting people, asking the right questions and giving colleagues the confidence to take action themselves. “It is powerful to see how much progress you can make when people start working together,” she notes. Collaboration plays a central role in her daily work and helps teams achieve lasting improvements.
The open and transparent culture at FrieslandCampina also supports Daniela’s personal growth. “You are given the space to be yourself, share ideas and work together on solutions,” she explains. Whether she is implementing global data systems or improving cross departmental processes, Daniela continues to develop her strengths. “Here I truly feel at home, a place where I can grow and inspire others to do the same,” she concludes.
