Specification Specialist
In our department Specialized Nutrition, the compliance Team is responsible for high quality specifications of our products on the market. For this vulnerable group, attention to detail is key.
You will be responsible for making, maintaining and updating the Finished Product Specifications of our Business-to-Consumer products around the world.
As a Specification Specialist, you are part of the Recipe and Specifications Compliance team, which belongs to the IFT development department.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and has an open attitude. The candidate is analytical, has a quality and customer focus and works well both independently and within a team.
- MSc degree in Food Technology or equivalent area.
- Interest in and attention to detail is key.
- Good communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills in English is important.
- Experience on Food safety, HACCP, QCP, microbiology is a pre.
- Experience with SAP PLM is a pre.
- Affinity with Specification management, product development or Quality Assurance (QA) is a pré.

As Specification Specialist, your tasks and responsibilities, amongst others, will be:
- Set up and maintain specifications in SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
- Align Specifications with QA, RA and procurement disciplines.
- Participate in NPD projects (New Product Development) and Continues Improvement projects.
- Leading improvement projects and ways of working within the specification team.
- Build and use a stakeholder network within FrieslandCampina (e.g. RA, QA, QC, procurement, SQM, Supply Chain)
Next to your direct team members in R&D, you will closely work together with various colleagues from other disciplines across FrieslandCampina worldwide such as for Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.

The Infant Formula development department is based in Wageningen, The Netherlands, and consists of about 60 people and belongs to the business group of Specialized Nutrition.
