“Every day when I get up, I know that I can make a difference in someone’s life and can contribute to society.” Saud, Dairy Development Manager in Pakistan, is caring by nature. How does he turn this drive into action?

Dairy Development Programme in Pakistan

"In Pakistan, over 8 million families make a living out of the milk produced by their cows. However, the lack of knowledge about dairy farming is a major problem and limits their commercial opportunities. Through the Dairy Development Programme (DDP) FrieslandCampina supports in this by providing trainings and knowledge sharing. It is our goal to make a contribution to the Pakistan economy and to help the small-scale dairy farmers improve their living conditions and enable them to offer their children a good future.”

Saud is making a great contribution to the society in Pakistan, but why is this so important to him? “I often ask myself the question: what is the reason of my existence and what do I want to achieve? I want to help people to grow in life and do all possible to put a smile on someone’s face.

For me it is really fantastic when I can help local farmers to double the amount of milk per cow.

The happiness that shows from their faces, that is priceless. Every day when I get up, I know that I can make a difference in someone’s life and can contribute to society. This gives me a lot of energy.”
