Supplier Quality Management Specialist
Supplier Quality Management team supports on food safety and quality issues with our suppliers. Of course main focus on preventing issues from happening.
The SQM team supports the FrieslandCampina locations and procurement in solving any quality issues with suppliers and making sure our suppliers are capable of meeting our quality requirements. This job is a business SQM which means primary focus is supporting the locations on having the right suppliers and helping to solve any issues. This also means doing a first assessment for a new supplier and recurring assessments of existing suppliers. The information on the suppliers is captured in a software system and is maintained and reported on by SQM. Working together with R&D, procurement and the locations is most important.
What we ask
- You are a team player but also able to work independently. You are an excellent communicator written and verbally.
- You have thorough knowledge of food safety and food quality subjects, through your education(bachelor/masters) and work experience(at least 3 years).

Vacancy description
- You are the sparring partner and support for the locations, R&D and procurement on quality subjects related to suppliers. You have regular meetings with these stakeholders to discuss opportunities and issues.
- You lead/participate in programs/projects on new suppliers and/or solving quality issues. You report on Quality of the suppliers, do trend analysis on the results.
- You pick up any quality notifications concerning materials or services from our suppliers for the locations you are responsible for. You support the suppliers in doing root cause analysis and discuss corrective and preventive measures when an issue occurs. You follow-up on the agreed actions to make sure of improvement.
- Being part of the global team, you are also part of sharing best practices and supporting in alignment sessions on the way we work.
