What we ask
• Relevant Master or Bachelor degree
• 7-10 years of working experience in Supply Chain or in IT / D&A in Manufacturing domain.
• Proven experience (5+ years) managing and delivering digital solutions, demonstrating strong ownership and the ability to lead projects independently.
• Able to connect business and IT by aligning digital solutions with operational goals, from frontline staff to senior leaders.
• Experience with Power BI and analytics tools specifically for manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of Manufacturing data, process and systems such as PCS, MES and SAP.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, preferably with working knowledge of Python. Knowledge of Azure Databricks is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and solve problems effectively.
• Deep understanding of business processes and strategies, with the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.
• Dutch language skills strongly preferred.

Vacancy description
As a Senior Analytics Translator, you will work closely with data scientists, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure data-driven insights are clearly communicated and effectively applied. Your main focus is to turn complex data analyses into actionable strategies that drive business decisions and innovation. You typically manage 5-8 concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate this into user-friendly and visually engaging Power BI dashboards or other digital prototypes, incorporating stakeholder feedback to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Use data engineering skills to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data within the Azure Databricks environment when required.
• Act as Product Owner from business side for the manufacturing domain
• Partner with the IT Data & Analytics (D&A) and Operational Excellence (OPEX) teams to ensure smooth deployment of solutions
• Monitor solution performance post-deployment, collect feedback, and make improvements to meet evolving business needs.
• Develop quarterly and annual solution delivery plans for the Manufacturing domain.
• Engage with senior business and IT/OT stakeholders to create and deliver efficient and effective solutions .
• Share best practice, ideas and insights with the Digital Supply Chain and R&D colleagues to instill innovation within the broader teams.
