RTR Specialist
The RTR Specialist plays a key role in the day‑to‑day execution of Record‑to‑Report processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial outcomes in line with corporate guidelines, internal procedures, and departmental objectives. This role operates within established accounting principles and control frameworks, consistently meeting service level expectations while promoting efficient workflows and best practices. The position also involves managing exceptions and resolving deviations through effective communication via phone and email, while building strong, collaborative relationships with cross‑functional teams and business partners.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent with 3 to 6 years working experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Good attention to detail with good analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proactive and willingness to learn.
- Strong working knowledge of MsOffice application particularly Excel and Word.
- Operating knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP, HFM, Anaplan)

- Execute daily Record‑to‑Report (RtR) activities in accordance with corporate guidelines, internal procedures, and departmental objectives.
- Perform RtR processes in line with established accounting principles, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls, service level agreements (SLAs), and adoption of efficient workflows and best practices.
- Prepare, calculate, and post journal entries in compliance with defined policies and procedures, ensuring all manual entries are fully supported with valid documentation, are Sherpa‑compliant, and include accurate coding.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including clearing and follow‑up of open items, ensuring timely resolution and tracking of actions through standardized action and issue logs.
- Take responsibility for PPE and lease accounting and reporting, including uploads to HFM (actuals, outlook, budget, rolling forecast) and SAP (budget, rolling forecast, outlook), as applicable.
- Act as a mandated user for FI master data, including General Ledger (GL) accounts and cost centers.
- Prepare standard reports within assigned processes using financial systems and tools such as SAP, HFM, and Adaptive.
- Prepare, analyze, and deliver complex periodic reports (both quantitative and qualitative) in line with defined formats, timelines, and reporting procedures.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret business and financial data to support accurate and effective execution of RtR processes.
- Identify and highlight deviations between standard RtR processes and business practices within the assigned scope.
- Proactively identify process bottlenecks and propose improvement opportunities within the area of responsibility.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively contribute to daily process enhancements within the RtR function.
