RTR Specialist
- Primarily responsible for the daily execution of RtR processes in line with corporate guidelines, internal procedures and the departmental goals
- Execute based on established accounting principles, policies and procedures & ensure we are compliant; internal controls are adhered to; terms of the service level agreement are consistently met; and that efficient workflows and best practices are adopted, in the RtR department
- Understand and able to address the treatment of deviations and exceptions, via phone and e-mail handling and maintains positive working relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent with 3 to 6 years working experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Good attention to detail with good analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proactive and willingness to learn.
- Strong working knowledge of MsOffice application particularly Excel and Word.
- Operating knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP, HFM, Anaplan)

- Primarily responsible for the daily execution of Record to Report processes in line with corporate guidelines, internal procedures and the departmental goals.
- Execute based on established accounting principles, policies and procedures & ensure we are compliant; internal controls are adhered to; terms of the service level agreement are consistently met; and that efficient workflows and best practices are adopted, in the Record to Report department
- Prepare, calculate and post journal entries in compliance with defined policies and procedures. Ensure that manual journal entries are supported with valid supporting documents, are Sherpa compliant and complete with coding
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, clearing and follow up on balance sheet open items ensuring that actions are tracked in standard action and issue log
- Responsible for PPE/lease accounting & reporting and/or upload to HFM (actuals, outlook, budget, RF) and to SAP (budget, RF, outlook)
- Mandated users FI masterdata (e.g. GL accounts & cost centers)
- Prepare standard reports within own processes using financial tools (eg: SAP, HFM, Adaptive)
- Prepare, analyze and deliver complex periodical reports (quantitative and qualitative), in accordance with defined formats and procedures
- Collect and understand business/financial related data in order to perform the RtR processes
- Highlight if there is a deviation of standard processes with business processes within the person's work field, within RtR processes/guidelines
- Identify bottle necks in (work) processes, provide proposals on improvement opportunities within own area
- Provide support in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute in daily improvements
