Regional Payroll Manager
As the Regional Payroll Manager, you will lead the end-to-end payroll operations for multiple countries, primarily focusing on Hungarian and Dutch payrolls. You will manage a team of payroll professionals, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, and act as the key contact for external payroll vendors. This role plays a vital part in ensuring payroll compliance, process optimization, and an excellent employee experience across the region.

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or regional role.
- Experience with multi-country payroll operations, ideally with exposure to Dutch and Hungarian payrolls.
- Proven experience managing payroll vendors and outsourced services.
- Experience with EuHReka (NL), Nexon (HUN), SAP Succesfactors or other (payroll) systems is a plus.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, analytical mindset and ability work in an international environment

The Manager Payroll and Data Quality is part of the People Services & Solutions organization and reports to the Director PS&S Europe & Americas. PS&S Europe & Americas provides services to the Netherlands and Hungary. The hub also excutes the payroll for both countries. Services model will be growing in the coming years. Functionally this role is working closely with the Global Business Process Owner for payroll, working on the strategic direction of the function. - Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead and manage a regional payroll team, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and compliance for the Dutch and Hungarian payroll.
- Coordinate and oversee end-to-end payroll processes for Hungary, the Netherlands, and additional countries as assigned.
- Monitor team KPIs and support development, coaching, and training. Close collaboration with Retained Operations NL/Hungarian team.
- Driving force in seeking optimalization/opportunities from a payroll perspective to move our local payroll approach towards a regional payroll, in collaboration with BPO Payroll and Digital HR (such as: driving force roadmap next steps from local payroll to regional).
- Vendor management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll vendors, managing performance, contracts and service levels – next to this, manage escalations
- Ensure smooth collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders including HR, Finance, BPO Payroll and HR Retained Operations NL.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll operations and improve efficiency over the countries.
- Drive standardization and automation in collaboration with Digital HR and Finance teams.
- Bring the regional payroll perspective in local payroll projects (such as Germany payroll project – new payroll provider/system)
- Compliance to processes and policies (ICF, CIC and external auditor)
- Enforce compliance and create awareness across the HR organisation including management
- Initiate and conceptualize new processes and structures to improve risk management
- Manage the relevant stakeholders: Corporate Internal Control, External Auditor
