“Throughout my career journey, I realised that working with people, finding their strengths and coaching them to use these in the best way, is the beauty of my role. And it really suits my nature.”
Stefan is Curious by nature. How does he use this in his job as Manufacturing Manager in Targu Mures Plant?
Embracing knowledge and growth
I am a very curious person with an engineering mindset. Always trying to use logic as a filter for my daily work routine. In the second year of my Masters I started working so that I could apply the knowledge I gained during my studies. Over the next five years, I have experienced exponential growth in terms of professional experience and responsibilities, until in 2019 I was offered the role of Process Engineer at FrieslandCampina. A role that I was very eager to accept.
My primary responsibility is to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, where my colleagues can effectively utilise their strengths
After four years of challenging projects in my role as Process Engineer, I was promoted to my current role; Manufacturing Manager for the Targu Mures Plant in Romania. On a daily basis, I focus on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment, where my colleagues can effectively utilise their strength for the success of our business.
A journey of development
FrieslandCampina provides a lot of growth opportunity. Especially because it identifies the potential of our employees and then helps them develop in that direction. During my time at FrieslandCampina, I attended many learning programs and courses, that helped me to develop and grow. In addition to these formal and on-the-job learning, I receive continuous feedback from my direct manager who provides me with valuable improvement feedback.
This all helps me to shape my mindset and create relationships with people from our company
Last but not least the support & the interaction with my Corporate colleagues have a great value in my personal development.
