A Journey That Starts with Curiosity and Change

Conţinut

Born in Sabah, raised in Johor Bahru, and now building her career in Petaling Jaya, Kimberly has always embraced new beginnings. After completing university and spending most of her adult life in PJ, she is now not only a Brand Manager at DLMI (a subsidiary of FrieslandCampina)—but also a wife and a proud mom to a 5-year-old girl.

She joined DLMI in September 2024 and was excited to jump right into the team behind MaxGro, a specialized children’s dietary formula, as well as the School Milk Programme.

It was my first exposure to how nutrition impacts children at scale. A lot of learning, but also very rewarding.

Finding Purpose Through Nutrition

Just five months later, she was given a new challenge: leading the Kids Liquid Portfolio, focusing on beloved brands like Disney and Marvel. In March 2025, she led a large community-based family event where Dutch Lady as the event official sponsor reached over 3,000 parents and children.

It was an unexpected but exciting turn for her. She had always wanted to experience the FMCG world—and this was it. For her, it wasn’t just about marketing; it was purpose in action. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with families, understand their needs, and promote the importance of nutrition through her daily work. She shared how the nutrition message started to hit closer to home.

At first, I didn’t think much about it. But being a mom changed that. I started seeing how what we do can truly make a difference for kids—including my own.

Bringing Heart to Work at DLMI

Conţinut

Now settling in her new role, she finds meaning not just in the work she does, but in how she does it—with purpose, collaboration, and heart.

I appreciate DLMI’s open, supportive environment. It might take time to build trust, but once you do, you feel how inclusive and empowering this place is.

Her early work with the School Milk Programme gave her more than just a project—it sparked a deep understanding of how dairy can positively impact children's health on a large scale. That experience shaped her perspective and laid the groundwork for the purpose-driven approach she brings to every role. Looking back, it’s clear that each step in her journey has been guided by a sense of purpose, starting with a strong foundation in child nutrition and evolving into a broader mission to create meaningful impact through her work.

As she continues her journey at DLMI, she remains committed to being a voice for better nutrition and supporting others who want to grow with impact.
