Assistant Channel & Category Development Manager (Trade Marketing)
We are hiring talent for Channel & Category Development (Trade Marketing) to lead the development of data-driven channel and category strategies that support our Sales teams and drive in-store activation, visibility, and distribution growth. The role involves aligning brand and channel plans, supporting regional sales through insights and joint business planning, and executing in-store programs to enhance shelf presence and performance.
Key objectives:
- Be responsible for excellent plan execution of channel & category activities in General Trade (GT) channel.
- Ensure effective in-store communication, visibility and availability of GT channel

- Skills:
- Effective at communication, execution and analytical skills
- Good command in English & advanced computer skills in Ms-word, Excel, PowerPoint

1. Plan execution
- Develop and execute Assortment strategy and Promotion Guidelines for GT channel, benchmarking with other channels and competitor’s offers
- Based on Channel strategies, develop detailed implementation plan of GT for the assigned category: scheme and budget management, phasing, tracking of activities
- Evaluate and analyse contract performance for each account to generate optimal efficiency
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to forecast category and channel growth, especially exclusive SKUs on monthly basis
- Be responsible for excellent execution of the plan
- Prepare OTIF logistics for all promotions
2. Instore communication
- Adapt and execute in-store communication activities for General Trade channel initiatives to launch/relaunch of products and to acquire new customers
- Collaborate with Operation team to deploy in-store extra visibility, display audit process
- Facilitate reimbursement of display incentive, trade promotion to distributors/ retailers
- Manage Discount budget monthly and leverage Discount budget to maximize effectiveness
- Other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor
