Intern HR Change & Organisation Development

At our Corporate Centre in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, we are looking for an enthusiastic Intern to work within the HR Function in our Change & Organisation Development team.

  • Bachelor / Master student in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Available from March / April 2026 for a minimum period of 6 months
  • Based in The Netherlands
  • Fluent in English
  • A Dutch, EU-resident student or a non-EU student with a Dutch student visa

Vacancy description

As an Intern in the Change and Organizational Development HR team, you’ll be at the centre of FrieslandCampina’s transformation journey. You won’t just observe change, you’ll help build the tools and structure that enable it. A key part of your role will be supporting the further development of our Organizational Change Management (OCM) Strategy and Change Toolkit. These tools help leaders and teams across the globe successfully implement change and improve employee experience.

You’ll help translate strategy into practical templates, guides, and communication materials that teams can immediately use. You’ll work closely with Change Managers, OD Specialist, HR, and transformation teams, helping structure content, prepare presentations, and ensure our change approach is clear and accessible. You will also play an active role in organizing our internal Change Week, helping coordinate communications, events, and engagement activities that bring change management to life across the organization.

Throughout your internship, you’ll gain firsthand experience in global transformation programs and learn how organizational change works in practice. You may also get the opportunity to contribute to Organisation Development related projects and tasks.  With guidance from experienced colleagues, you’ll develop skills in stakeholder management, communication, and change management. You’ll be encouraged to take ownership, bring your ideas, and make a visible impact while building a strong foundation for a future career in HR, consulting, or organizational development.

Change & Organisation Development is part of our Work & Health team, one of the teams in our Global HR function. We are a global team and based in Amersfoort, Kuala Lumpur, and Budapest. The team is responsible for Organisation Development, Change Management, and Social Sustainability. It consists of two main components: the Center of Expertise (CoE), which provides strategic guidance, and the Capability Pool, which focuses on execution across these pillars. The Intern will become part of the Capability Pool and will be located in Amersfoort, The Netherlands.
