Channel Development Manager

What we ask

    • Masters/ Bachelor Degree in Business Management or Marketing Management or related field
    • Minimum 5 years commercial experience with a Managerial experience in Senior Account Management, Trade Marketing or Brand experience, from within an MNC company
    • In-depth knowledge of Channel/Customer and Category Management
    • Must have good knowledge of Trade Marketing and Category product
    • Has done business planning & implementation (Project Management)
    • Has team management experience
    • Has good communication, presentation and influencing skills
    • Willing to travel

Vacancy description

To drive profitable sales and category growth within and across DLMI categories within the Channel through:

  • The identification of Channel specific opportunities and strategies (At a total DLMI level – ie: cross Category level) based on an intimate understanding of the Channel’s own individual objectives, growth strategies, needs and their target shopper
  • Translating these opportunities and strategies into detailed channel plans by Category – inclusive of POP activation plans, and customized promotional programs and assortments where appropriate.
  • Championing Channel specific insights and needs throughout the business
  • Ensuring DLMI is able to leverage its’ total size, scale and know-how within the Channel
  • Championing Perfect Store initiatives of DLMI and to facilitate the four step process of define, execute, measure and learn to improve
  • Work with regional CDSM to organize and embed best practices learning from RFC that DLMI can capitalize
