Senior Marketing Innovation Manager Early Life Nutrition
Step into a strategic marketing innovation role where you impact the future of infant formula. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and visionary innovation leader to sustain our position as global market leader in infant formula ingredients for the Early Life Nutrition segments Hydro's & Bioactive proteins, while driving growth across both our core and innovation portfolio’s. The role is central to unlocking growth opportunities across these Early Life Nutrition segments, one of FCI’s key strategic plays. You will shape, contribute and execute the global Early Life Nutrition innovation strategy, with the aim to further accelerate value growth in the Hydro's and Bioactive proteins Segments, and deliver against our bold ambitions for the years ahead. Understanding, acting upon the context (market, consumers), customers, competitors and our company’s capabilities within Early Life Nutrition. It also means defining our innovation roadmap on proposition, product portfolios, place (availability) and pricing.

- Academic/master’s degree, preferably in marketing, business economics, food technology or technical business.
- 9+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, ideally in infant nutrition, nutrition or dairy ingredients.
- Proven track record in strategy development, innovation roadmaps and in-market execution, delivering business growth.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complexity and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Affinity with scientific environments; able to collaborate with R&D and translate complex science into clear value propositions.
- Experience in cross-functional project management within global, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills: influencing, challenging, and driving decisions in complex environments.
- Able to combine a helicopter view with a hands-on, execution-driven approach.

As for the employment benefits:
- Salary between €6,500 and €8,900 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
- Full-time workweek of 40 hours, 15% bonus, and a pension;
- Flexible working hours, hybrid working, plus either a train pass or a travel allowance of €0.23 per km (up to 30 km one way).
- 200 hours of annual leave, the option to buy or sell 40 extra hours, and 8% holiday allowance;

- You will shape and execute the Early Life Nutrition marketing strategy. Translating market & science developments into ideation, innovation plans, projects and value propositions & validate these based on requirements and insights from consumer and customer perspective.
- You will map the global ELN market, identifying trends, opportunities and strategic focus areas within two high value sub segments. You will drive value chain analyses and develop the product/portfolio, place, positioning, pricing and strategy.
- You will initiate, drive and support innovation & application projects specific for Early Life Nutrition.
- You will analyze competitor strategies and proactively develop counterstrategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- You will take the lead as commercial owner and Principal in New Product Development (NPD) driving the innovation roadmap and building strong business cases for innovations in two high sub segments.
- You will define and steer the scientific substantiation roadmaps supporting value propositions, and ensuring scientific initiatives are aligned with business and innovation goals for two sub segments.
- You will create global value propositions and work closely with the regional marketing teams and our corporate key accounts to tailor messaging for local relevance.
- You will work closely together with our Global Sales and Marketing teams based in five regional offices around the world as well as our leading customers.
- You will leverage and build external networks (e.g. KOL, industry network and our customers).
