Intern Sustainability and External Communications
Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of corporate storytelling, strategy, and sustainability? As our External Communications Intern, you’ll help bring FrieslandCampina’s voice to life. Based at our central office in Amersfoort, you'll work closely with colleagues across the globe to deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communications. This internship offers hands-on experience in external corporate communications, from content creation and social media to supporting our corporate website and sustainability-related messaging. As an External Communications Intern at FrieslandCampina, you’ll have the opportunity to learn all about external communications and gain valuable work experience in an international environment. You recognise yourself in the following:
- You’re a bachelor’s student (HBO/University) in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Branding, PR, or a related field.
- You have a passion for writing texts and possess excellent verbal and written skills in both Dutch and English.
- You demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- You have experience with tools like Canva and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with website management and social media is a plus.
- You’re available for 32–40 hours a week for 5–6 months.

During your internship, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Managing content and analysing the performance of our social media channels.
- Assisting in maintaining and improving our corporate website.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create compelling content and working with external agencies to transform creative concepts into eye-catching stories.
- Ensuring our communication stays on point and our messaging is consistent across all platforms.
- Taking the lead in managing our corporate communication mailbox.
