Process Development Internship

RFC is the largest cheese manufacturer in the Netherlands. With a major part of our cheese being ripened on wooden shelf in traditional warehouse settings. Our Gouda cheese is internationally known for its high quality standards. To maintain our high quality standard we would like to reduce process variation in our warehouses resulting in less quality issues. For this we need a deeper understanding on the influence of temperature, airspeed, humidity and warehouse design on cheese quality attributes.

You will be performing trials on pilot scale and factory scale to observe process conditions, evaluate process variation with advanced statistical methods and evaluate the quality of produced samples with our internal experts.

Of course you will also get the opportunity to learn more about our way of working within FrieslandCampina Supply Chain and broader in the company.
