The story of FrieslandCampina and our relationship with milk began in 1871. This was the year the farmers decided to join forces in local cooperative dairy factories. By doing so, they could strengthen their market position and ensure sales of their milk. Today FrieslandCampina, headquartered in the Netherlands is one of the world’s largest dairy companies. Every day, we provide millions of consumers all over the world with the valuable nutrition from milk. Not only in the form of milk itself, but with all kinds of dairy products we make from milk.

 

FrieslandCampina has been bringing cheese into the US for over half a century. Over the past 2 years we have established a regional operations office in Paramus, NJ and a sales team located throughout the US. We are excited to be expanding our team to assist with increasing our branded presence in the marketplace through building partnerships with our retailers and distributors to offer a variety of cheeses and dairy products to our customers for every occasion.

 

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who brings experience with combination of marketing, product and brand management to drive incremental growth across in both the traditional and digital landscape.  The ideal candidate would bring experience working in CPG environment (food & beverage) working in both retail and e-commerce marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and gain experience through involvement in many diverse marketing and brand development activities and projects.

 

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Work collaboratively with Marketing Director to create strategic framework, channel relevant content, growth and activation strategies
  • Collaborate with Sales team to ensure all messaging is in line with strategy and branding requirements and support the production of client facing materials
  • Work with Marketing team to set the strategy for NPD initiatives - conception to launch
  • Work with Marketing team to organize and coordinate trade shows and external events
  • Managing outside partners including advertising, promotional, photography agencies to ensure execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize data to drive marketing and sales strategy
  • Work with e-commerce team to ensure flawless execution of on-line retail initiatives to help move the roadmap forward

Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications required, Master’s preferred
  • 5-7 years experience in CPG (food & beverage) – new brand development and/or e-commerce required
  • Creating marketing initiatives through data driven analytics a must
  • Experience in brand management from conception to execution a plus
  • Working with internal and external cross-functional teams leading initiatives is essential
  • Proven record of creativity, initiative and self-starter crucial
  • Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel required
  • Experience creating strategic marketing plans helpful
  • Experience working with Instacart, Amazon and food & beverage e-commerce site a huge plus
  • The right individual will bring excitement to work in an innovative and creative environment with a mix of food and beverage retail and e-commerce marketing experience
