Manager Technical Services
In the role as Manager Technical Services you ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of equipment, machinery, and facilities within an organization. This role is critical for minimizing downtime, reducing operational costs, and ensuring that all assets are maintained to meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
What we ask
- Higher Vocational / Applied sciences/ Bachelor (HBO) with experience >10 years or Academic / Master (WO) with experience >7 years
- Deep understanding and experience with Operational Excellence methodologies such as WCOM, OWOW, TPM, Six Sigma, or Lean.
- Proven successful track record in leading transformation processes within a production/supply chain environment.
- Extensive experience with leading, developing and coaching a team.
- Ability to recognize, assess, and translate new project ideas into concrete improvement plans.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with effective analytical skills.

Vacancy description
Ensures that equipment and facilities are properly maintained, minimizing downtime, controlling costs, and ensuring safety and compliance within the organization.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement strategies for regular maintenance and early detection of potential issues.
- Schedule inspections and repairs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, assign tasks, and ensure proper training (approx 30 FTE, 10 direct and 20 indirect).
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations without disruptions.
Asset Management:
- Oversee the lifecycle of equipment, from procurement to maintenance and replacement.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment condition, and spare parts inventory.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Manage the maintenance budget and find cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and control maintenance-related expenses while ensuring quality and safety.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments to prevent accidents.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement to enhance maintenance efficiency.
- Introduce new technologies and methods to optimize maintenance practices.
