What we ask
Our ideal candidates meet the following criteria:
- At least a completed bachelor’s degree (preferably in Industrial Engineering and Management, Technology, or Supply Chain Management)
- Fresh graduate with preferably less than two years of working experience
- Fluent in English
- Global mindset, strong team player with analytical, social, leadership, and result-driven skills
- Interest in diverse disciplines within Supply Chain/Operations, including Quality Assurance (QA), Operations, Maintenance, and Planning & Delivery
- Ambition to build a career in a production-focused environment

About the Supply Chain & Operations Traineeship
As a Supply Chain & Operations trainee, you’ll work alongside teams to continuously improve organizational, technological, and analytical processes, ensuring the right products are delivered to the right places at the right times—and at the right costs.
This three-year program offers you the opportunity to fully develop your leadership and technical skills through diverse jobs. You might step into roles such as Team Leader in the packaging department, Demand Planner at our headquarters, or Manager Planning at one of our production sites. After completing two challenging roles, you’ll be equipped with all the tools and managerial competencies needed for your future career. In your first year, you will join one of our production plants and kick off your jouney in the operation environment. The first 3 months, you will get to know the location by being part of the shift work.
Example rotations
Continuous Improvement Project Manager: In this role, you’ll focus on enhancing processes within FrieslandCampina’s plants from multiple perspectives. Your goal will be to streamline operations and improve production efficiency, contributing to the company’s overarching focus on innovation and sustainability.
Team Leader Packaging: As team leader packaging you are responsible for the production of the packaging department. Safety, quality and costs are very important. To make sure the production is realised on time, you tell the operators and mechanics what they have to do. You must set priorities, take decisions very quickly and have to be able to communicate very clear. During the day you have contact with other departments (processing and logistics) in order to make the whole process as smooth as possible.
