Continuous Improvement Specialist

In the customer care team of FC Professional, we are looking for an enthusiastic Continuous Improvement Specialist who loves to work in an ambitious environment where you can combine your customer obsessed mindset, project management skills and continuous improvement mindset to improve customer experience while bringing global customer care teams to a higher level in terms of processes and capabilities.

In this position you will be part of the customer care leadership team.

FrieslandCampina Professional develops, produces, and commercializes a range of dairy products with added value, targeted at professional customers such as bakeries, fast food chains, hotels, restaurants, catering companies as well as industrial food companies across the globe.

In this position, Continuous Improvement specialist focuses on:

Continuous improvement

  • Leads definition and execution of departmental roadmap incl. transformation related activities
  • Continuously works on standardizing way of working across CC teams
  • Communicates (potential) benefits of continuous improvement initiatives and share progress updates with management and into community of practice if needed
  • Thinks in customer experience needs on tactical horizon (visionary) and brings outside-in view to support CI
  • Works hand in hand with other teams (eg. Supply planning, Sales and Account support) on maximizing customer experience

Managing performance & analysis

  • Leverage and promotes use of systems and BI tools (like Microstrategy)
  • Provides Key Performance Indicator dashboards, insights, and decision documents at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting guidelines
  • Leads and continuously improved Performance Control System
  • Provides training on RCA and PDCA, ensures PCS is enabled in the organization E2E
  • Creates insight and harmonizes Key Performance Indicators across CC teams
  • Analyses and support analysis of reports and takes/drives corrective & preventive actions on KPI results (eg. SL)
  • Sets up structural action plans for KPI improvement and leads or participates in (cross-departmental) improvement teams


  • Sets up and leads project management routines within the department
  • Leads and/or participates in (supply chain, cross functional) projects and improvement teams

Information & Communication

  • Analyses and determines the impact of changes through simulations and communicates continuously to stakeholders
