Peter Boterman is a true ambassador for sustainability and purpose. In the last years of his distinguished career, he has successfully integrated sustainability into the core of FrieslandCampina's operations. Today he is retiring! Reflecting on his journey, Peter shares, "Today marks the final day of my career, and I am giving a guest lecture on purpose and sustainability at the VU University in Amsterdam. My focus is not so much on the goals themselves, but rather on the story of FrieslandCampina, its dilemmas, the decisions the company faces, and how to navigate them."

Peter's pride lies in the team and their collective achievements. "I could say: Our success is the progress on the climate plan, but really, it is the team and the people I’ve worked with. I have never been belessed to worked in a company with so much passion, knowledge and willingness to cooperate. The teams have challenged me and pushed me to be even better. So, in a way, it feels like I graduate from FrieslandCampina today."
