FrieslandCampina is one of the largest dairy cooperatives in the world, offering a wide range of products including milk, yogurt, cheese, butter, infant nutrition, and specialized ingredients. 

From our headquarters in Ghent and our production sites in Aalter, Bornem, Halen, Kallo Langemark, Lummen and Moorslede we produce and package a variety of dairy products and ingredients that reach millions of consumers around the world every day. In Belgium, we make a difference with strong brands such as Campina, Chocomel, Fristi, Joyvalle, Nutroma, Brugge and Nazareth cheese.

Since 1 January 2026, Milcobel has merged with FrieslandCampina. Through this merger, we are joining forces in Belgium. This enables us to strengthen our position in the dairy industry, increase our impact and continue building a sustainable future for dairy farmers, customers and consumers.

Fristi is a fruity dairy drink especially popular among children, combining the goodness of milk with the refreshing taste of fruit.

Joyvalle

Joyvalle stands for high-quality Belgian meadow milk, enriched with vitamin D and produced with a strong commitment to sustainability in farming and packaging.

Nutroma

Nutroma is a well-known coffee milk brand in Belgium, appreciated for its smooth texture and ability to enhance the flavor of coffee without overpowering it.

Debic

Debic is FrieslandCampina’s professional brand, trusted by chefs and foodservice professionals across Belgium for its premium dairy solutions like cream, butter, and desserts.

Brugge cheese

Brugge Kaas is made with a rich tradition of craftsmanship and quality. Made from Belgian pasture milk and carefully matured, Brugge Kaas offers a wide range of distinctive cheeses that are enjoyed by consumers.

Nazareth cheese

Nazareth Kaas is known for its smooth texture and rich taste, Nazareth Kaas is carefully crafted from Belgian milk and enjoyed by consumers across generations.

Each of our locations in Belgium plays a unique and essential role in our operations. Our Belgian head office, where teams across disciplines such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, and HR work together every day to get the most out of milk—for our member dairy farmers, consumers, and customers around the world.

Aalter

Aalter

With a team of around 530 colleagues, we produce and package products in Aalter such as Cécémel, Campina, Nutroma, Fristi, and Joyvalle. We do this in an automated and sustainable way for customers both in Belgium and abroad.

Lummen

Lummen

In Lummen, around 550 colleagues produce four different product categories: aerosol whipped cream, dessert bases, specialty creams, and (ice)shakes for consumers, hospitality, bakeries, and fast-food chains. An impressive 80% of the whipped cream used worldwide originates from our site!

Bornem

Bornem

At our site in Bornem, we prepare, fill, and package products such as Chocomel, Campina, Nutroma, and Fristi. To export these products globally, we rely on an efficient packaging system and a team of around 130 ambitious colleagues.

Locatie Moorslede

Moorslede

The factory in Moorslede is the largest and most important production site for consumer cheese in Belgium. We produce a variety of high-quality consumer cheeses, including iconic Belgian brands such as Brugge Kaas and Nazareth Kaas.

Kallo

The Kallo site specializes in the production of mozzarella cheese and dairy ingredients for the food industry. With its large-scale production facilities and strategic location in the Port of Antwerp, Kallo plays an important role in FrieslandCampina’s international dairy operations.

FrieslandCampina Langemark

Langemark

Langemark is the centre of excellence for mozzarella production. With an annual output of more than 60,000 tonnes, the site produces high-quality mozzarella cheese for food manufacturers, food service customers and pizza producers around the world.

Halen

The Halen site specializes in processing hard and semi-hard cheeses into high-quality grated cheese products and ingredient solutions. From fine grated cheese and julienne cuts to flakes and cheese powders, its products are used in pizzas, lasagnas, sauces, salads, and many other applications.
