Technology Specialist
Develop and execute strategy for technological development processes within the cluster, manage a group of highly qualified professionals while ensuring realization of the business objectives.
Manages all technological process activities including commissioning and validation of investment projects while ensuring process/systems, product and supplier’s complies with food safety, government regulations and consumer needs. Investment projects are capacity extension projects, but also the introduction of new type of production processes.
Manages product development activities relating to UHT and SCM plants and develop specifications for raw materials and finished products including process parameters required for production operation likewise involve in suppliers development program
Realize process optimization and loss reduction in production processes while trouble shooting and supporting Root-Cause-Analysis from technology point of view.
Participate in Design-to-Value, deep dives, and micro battles program and support quality management system activities (ISO,HACCP, FoQus System)
Support site masterplan development with Engineering (capacity balancing, obsolete, etc..)
Support marketing innovations and renovation activities.
Wat we vragen
• Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience (ideally 5 years +) working in a Packaging Development
• Ideally relevant experience working within Dairy or other FMCG food industry (preferred), Pharma, or Packaging Supplier.
• Knowledge and experience in UHT Beverage Carton, Metal Can, Flexible Packaging is an advantage but not compulsory – opportunity to grown and develop in these technology areas will be strongly supported
• Experience in Packaging materials and Packaging equipment and their interaction with product
• Project Management experience an advantage
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Lead, support, and effectively manage the implementation of FrieslandCampina Thailand’s Packaging innovation, optimization, value engineering and Sustainability projects:
- Be the local strong Lead and Expert for driving the business critical Packaging Development function for FCT
- Successfully develop packaging from prototype and validation through to commercialization and launch
- Act as Project team member to support and deliver in full and on time both New Packaging Development (NPD) and innovation projects, Sustainability and Value Engineering projects according to project management guideline
- Assess, improve and refine existing packaging applications
- Responsible for achieving the agreed annual Personal Objectives and deliverables within the defined timescale.
- Support Packaging Continuous Improvement and Root Cause analysis trouble-shooting within the Opco (for example on post launch, or during new supplier qualification)
• Enrich and support the Packaging innovation strategy:
- Stay abreast with market trends, including on Sustainability
- Work closely with Regional and Global expert teams to identify new commercial and technological developments to generate new opportunities
- Be involved in annual brain-storming of possible new Value-In / Cost-Out (VICO) Packaging development opportunities to build the VICO pipeline
- Provide support and/or act as a team member for the implementation of the Packaging strategy
- Understand the current legislation requirements of Thailand, staying informed both on Food Contact and Sustainability upcoming legislation and making inputs on behalf of FCT together with Corporate Affairs and Regional Packaging Development
- Generate accurate Packaging Development end project reports for documentation and learning purposes (Technical project, recipe management system, change request tracking list etc.)
• Advice & Support
- Pro-active give advice to implement Packaging optimization;
- Support production in respect of Packaging troubleshooting and continuous improvements as necessary
- Effective performance Management, coaching and development of junior local Packaging Analyst
• Building and maintaining an effective network of relevant internal and external relations, stakeholders, partners and customers, especially in the triangle Operations (Supply Chain) - Marketing & Sales -R&D. Requires effective and timely internal Stakeholder Management
