- You take ownership end to end, act with speed and decisiveness, and look beyond your own role to create impact aligned with our strategic priorities. You are pragmatic, accountable, and push ideas into production.
- You are a hands-on AI engineering leader with strong judgment, able to balance innovation with reliability, security, and Responsible AI in an enterprise context.
- Deep expertise in AI engineering and MLOps, including designing and running production-grade AI pipelines and platforms on Azure, with strong collaboration across data, platform, and business teams.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, with a proven track record of scaling AI solutions from experimentation to sustained business value in production.

- Salary between €6,500 and €8,900 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
- Full-time workweek of 40 hours, 15% bonus, and a pension;
- Flexible working hours, hybrid working, plus either a train pass or a travel allowance of €0.23 per km (up to 30 km one way).
- 200 hours of annual leave, the option to buy or sell 40 extra hours, and 8% holiday allowance;

- The role leads the global AI Engineering and MLOps capability, combining hands‑on engineering with clear technical ownership. Day to day work includes setting architectures and engineering standards, resolving complex production issues, reviewing critical code and pipelines, and coaching a small senior team that sets the technical bar for AI delivery.
- Work happens in close partnership with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Architecture, Security, and business domain teams across FrieslandCampina. Real use cases such as forecasting, pricing, and supply chain optimization are translated into scalable AI products that teams
