Het verhaal van Danja

Danja has been working as a Quality Control Analyst at FrieslandCampina in the laboratory of the cheese factory in Steenderen for the past year and a half. Together with a small team, she monitors and improves the quality of our cheeses, by using chemical and microbiological analyses. “For example, we determine the percentage of fat or protein in our products. This function is very diverse, because I am able to go everywhere in the factory and therefore learn a lot about different aspects of the cheese-making process”.

Discovering new places and learning new things gives me a lot of energy.

Danja is characterized by her committed attitude, both in her private life and in the workplace. She likes to go the extra mile for the people around her. I try to be open to my colleagues at all times, for example, to answer questions or to offer help. The laboratory consists of a small and close team, which means that you get to know each other well and know what you can expect from the other person.”

“I haven't been working at FrieslandCampina that long. In the conversations with my colleagues, I notice that people take me seriously and that we really learn from each other. Many things are also possible in the field of personal development. For example, I am now also working on tasks outside my role, such as becoming a member of the subcommittee of the Works Council.”
