QA Specialist External Manufacturing Strategic Partnerships
The Global Supply Chain produces and sources a wide range of Dairy and plant-based products. The QA specialist External Manufacturing is part of the Global QA Source team. The purpose of the department is to ensure the product quality at our key external manufacturing partners that process our dairy and dairy products on behalf of FrieslandCampina. You ensure that the performance of the external manufacturers is in line with our agreements and commercial needs and that you ensure we have a fit for purpose portfolio that has high quality and fully compliance with rules and regulations.
The QA specialist External Manufacturing is responsible for several Partners where you managed the quality process “End to End”. Your key responsibility is to execute quality control and to deploy projects to improve quality at our Partners.
What we ask
- Fluency in Dutch and English

- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a scientific or technical discipline (Food Science, Chemistry/Microbiology, or related)
- 5+ years Food Safety and Quality experience
- Knowledge of quality systems, including GMP, HACCP, change control, continuous improvement, document control, root cause analysis, etc.
- Experienced in implementing and structuring processes
- Self-starter / growth mindset
- Strong (commercial) and analytical skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Drive, flexibility, focus, result driven and decisiveness
- Pro-active, hands-on and good business judgement
- Ability to act in different cultures and in an international setting
- Adaptability to work throughout all organizational layers
- Ability to travel to External Manufacturing locations (primarily in the Netherlands)

As Specialist QA External Manufacturing Strategic Partnerships, you have a leading role in partnerships management, Continuous Improvement and supporting the Strategic Partnership team to assure Quality Compliance and business acceleration (new partners, new products).
Your main tasks & responsibilities will be:
• Manage, follow up and report the Quality performance of our Partners and maintain the QA relationship.
• Initiate and drive Quality improvement projects with Partners to reduce complaints, and failure cost, and improve product quality and processes.
• Manage claim and crisis management within Strategic Partnerships department.
• Participate projects to implement new Partners, new products and new route to markets.
• Create alignment between our Partnerships Quality capabilities and our Customer Quality needs.
