Country Finance Controller
As a Country Financial Controller you will be responsible for the financials of our consumer business in France, this regards to Controlling, Reporting and accounting activities within the cluster South West Europe of FrieslandCampina.
Acting as a Business Partner of the commercial area, providing financial analysis to facilitate the optimal use of commercial resources, ensuring that commercial operations adhere to financial, legal and corporate requirements and accounting practices. Executes Planning & Control, in order to deliver timely, adequate and reliable management-information in line with corporate guidelines and to support strategic business development.
The Country Finance Controller needs to work closely with Sales and Marketing manager and teams, as well as with central Finance functions based in Barcelona, Amersfoort (the Netherlands) and the Financial Shared Service Center based in Budapest (Hungary).

Knowledge / Work Experience
- Graduate in Finance, Business Administration, Economy or MBA
- Experience in SAP R/3 and Power BI tools
- Understanding and applying the principles of internal control policies and accounting procedures/French legal and tax requirements local and international (IFRS) corporate reporting standards
- Knowledge of good business control
- Experience in FMCG retail commercial environments
- Able to identify areas of financial risk and opportunities
- Commercial knowledge, knows how to improve results within the business model
- Several years’ experience in Business controlling (minimum 5 years)

Business Controlling
- Be the Ambassador to the Finance Community from the Sales Team to ensure transparency, alignment and proactive collaboration. (co-pilot role).
- Participate in sales strategy and plan development process and ensure the execution is in line with.
- Coordinate the forecast of Volumes and Net Sales, Customer Contribution to ensure alignment with monthly business planning (Budget, RF, OL)
- Optimize trade spend
- Identify the most efficient & effective way to perform pre& post evaluation (financial & commercial) and ensure that the analysis is completed.
- Ensure procedures are in place to determine if the Business is getting performance in line with customer agreements
- Participate in the elaboration of Business Cases.
- Partner with Sales & Finance organization to facilitate discussion on order to cash payment cycle and to provide financial guidance in customer negotiations.
- Responsible for periodic internal reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining strong internal control environment within commercial operations compliant with Internal Control Framework and risk management guidelines.
- Delivery of recurring and ad-hoc commercial reporting, for instance, volume and net sales development versus budget/forecast/plan.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Responsible for periodic internal reporting (monthly actuals).
- Primary responsible and main financial contact for internal (FSSC, Retail Europe, Warehousing & Distribution) and external (tax advisors, auditors) stakeholders.
- Responsibility of yearly closure with the French statutory and international IFRS.
- Responsible for maintaining strong internal control environment within commercial operations compliant with Internal Control Framework and risk management guidelines.
- Local lead and management of BI tools such as Infor and group data analytics.
Management Information
- Timely and accurately delivery of reports / management information.
- Delivery of recurring and ad-hoc commercial reporting on volume and net sales development versus budget/forecast/plan.
- Analyses short and long term to support financial based decisions.
