The technology department of FrieslandCampina Veghel is preparing for the future. In the coming years, the largest dairy processing factory in the world will further undergo a transformation towards a smart and sustainable factory, whilst implementation of major investments in new products. We will do that whilst continuously improve our manufacturing processes and expanding in capacity. Do you want to be responsible for these challenges in a highly complex production site in FrieslandCampina? Do you have a strong background in process technology, are you comfortable in leading people and are you able to steer and structure strategic themes. FrieslandCampina Veghel is looking for a driven and proactive Senior process improvement technologist with focus on lean sic sigma based optimisation projects and utilizing data to analyze the plant's health i a structured manner. This person will have a key role to shape the vision and steer technologists and stakeholders on realizing the benefits that exist in the field of digitisation and fact-based process improvement.
What we ask
- Relevant Master degree and expertise in Process Technology
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food or chemical industry
- Experience with being a structured project leader and manage key stakeholders
- Driven to take proactive ownership by analyzing and offering solutions. As such, lead lean six sigma improvement projects (black belt level) and mentoring more junior team members.

As a Lead Process Technologist in Veghel your projects and responsibilities are diverse and can vary over time, depending on the site's needs and own development plans, however:
As a senior process technologist you will lead the department forward in the use and materialize the benefits of applying lean six sigma as a methodology. This will also include ambassadorship of the method and mentoring other team members. As such you are also part of the leadership of the Process Technology team in Veghel and you will shape the Technology Strategy going forward including it's implementation. You will combine that with structuring the extensive available data and reporting opportunities from the plant towards performance monitoring and process health status and follow up.
