Senior Butter Technologist
Are you passionate about Process Technology and do you want to play a key role in further optimization of our butter processes? The Global Supply Chain Technology team is looking for an experienced Butter Technologist who can bring our butter factories to the next level.
What we ask
- An academic degree in (Food) Process technology, Chemical Engineering or a related field;
- Relevant experience in a food/chemical/engineering company (5+ years);
- Good knowledge of butter processes and understanding of dairy production processes;
- Experienced in process licensing in capex projects, structured problem solving and process optimization (6-sigma green or black belt is a pre);
- Good project and stakeholder management skills and experience in working in dynamic and multi-culture project environments;
- Proven collaboration with internal and external partners for technological advancements;
- The following key competences: analytical, fact-based, independent, solution oriented, well organized, critical.

Vacancy description
- In this role, you are expected to be able to realize the following in your area of expertise:
- Ability to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality in our butter factories;
- Process licensing of Capex projects;
- Translate and scale up innovations to the production environment;
- Lead Root-Cause-Analysis of complex problems within the factories;
- Translate knowledge to technology standards and actively check for validation in our factories;
- Closely work together with other departments such as R&D, production, quality assurance, and marketing to ensure that technology initiatives are properly integrated into the overall business strategy;
- Ensure that all your works complies with relevant regulations and standards, such as those related to food safety, quality, and labelling;
- Provision of training and support to employees on your expertise field, systems and tools to ensure that they are effectively integrated into the business.

In this position, you will be working in the cluster Membrane Processing & Purification of the Global Supply Chain Technology team. The cluster consists of 9 experts and in the total SC team of 60 technologists. You will be working very multidisciplinary (e.g. R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Experts).
