QA/QC Specialist

For FrieslandCampina Business Group Europe, we are looking for a decisive and results-oriented QA Specialist. As QA Specialist, you will represent our vision on quality to the customer, the internal organization, and the shop floor. Because you stay up to date with new developments and methodologies, you are able to standardize all QA (and related) processes and elevate them to a higher level.
You will work in a professional and enthusiastic business group team, and collaborate with local teams at different locations.
What we ask
- You hold a completed Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s (WO) degree in Food Technology or a comparable field.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, with solid knowledge of production processes, products, and packaging at production sites.
- You are decisive and results-driven.
- You have a good command of both Hungarian and English, spoken and written.
- You possess strong communication skills and have experience working in a matrix organization.

Vacancy description
Your base location will be Mateszalka, but you will also support other sites to improve the standardization of our quality systems. In this role, your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with local teams and the Global Quality team to implement regulatory, certification, and customer requirements, with a focus on standardization.
- Leading (customer) audits and visits, including preparation and follow-up (CAPA management), in cooperation with the Customer Supply Chain Quality team.
- Managing the internal audit program.
- Supporting root cause analyses and communication in the case of major quality issues.
- Assisting the Global Quality team in further developing the Food Safety Culture program.

- Belgium: Aalter and Bornem
- Netherlands: Maasdam
- Greece: Patras
- Hungary: Mátészalka
- Romania: Cluj and Târgu Mureș
For this Business Group, a Business Group QA Team is being established, consisting of six QA Specialist roles focused on NPD (New Product Development) and QMS (Quality Management Systems). These roles are distributed across the production sites to provide the right level of support. We work together with the site teams and the project organization, leveraging everyone’s strengths—together we grow stronger.
