As a Product Manager you create, monitor, enrich and improve the product management process in collaboration with commercial teams (e.g., sales and marketing), in alignment with supply chain. Your primary responsibility is the Implementation of the private label portfolio strategy for a specific key customer and derivation of innovation and renovation projects in close cooperation with the sales department.

What we ask

  • Completed studies in business administration or comparable training (BA, FH, Uni)
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in product or project management at an FMCG or consumer goods manufacturer, ideally in the food industry
  • Experience in the management and control of innovation projects
  • Analytical and conceptual-strategic skills
  • Sound experience with panel data from quantitative market research, e.g. from Nielsen and GfK
  • High level of personal responsibility and initiative, results orientation, flexibility, conceptual thinking, strong communication skills and creativity
  • Very good knowledge of English and German
  • High social skills, dynamism, self-motivation, entrepreneurial thinking, desire to win and enjoy working in a team

Vacancy description

  • Product management of one of our private label segments at our key customers
  • Implementation of the private label portfolio strategy and derivation of innovation and renovation projects in close cooperation with the sales department and retail customer contacts
  • Management and operational implementation of innovation and renovation projects for the DACH region including business cases for launches and relaunches with the aim of increasing volume and improving GP in close cooperation with the R&D, Make, Customer Supply Chain, Finance and Sales departments
  • Coordination of final artwork cycles for packaging and design changes in coordination with Print Development, Sales and external agencies
  • Performing Market and competition analyses and build in the team of product managers on a Private Label Strategy
  • Optimization of internal processes and close cooperation with internal and external interfaces
