The  Adoption & Reporting Specialist will be responsible for adoption, training and end user support on data & reporting within the Procurement discipline. The Adoption & Reporting Specialist will be a trusted business partner, ensuring the Procurement department improves further on data-driven decision making. This includes close alignment with end users as well as translating technical solutions to the full Procurement community. 
This position requires close cooperation and alignment with Category Procurement, Business Procurement, Purchase-to-Pay and the Corporate IT D&A team.

The role is uniquely positioned by having touch points across all Procurement, enhancing enthusiasm further along our data journey, and being the globally trusted go-to advisor in data & reporting matters. Build capabilities and create a robust data culture and mindset, support data-driven decision-making and manage the communication of data analytics initiatives within Procurement.

The Adoption & Reporting Specialist will work in the Global Procurement Data & Analytics team and will report to the Head of Procurement Data & Analytics.

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement, Analytics, BI, Economics, Communication or other relevant studies. If no relevant study, demonstrably relevant experience and interest
•    3+ years’ experience in a Procurement role with data & reporting component/affinity
•    Understanding of Procurement processes and process data
•    Proactive attitude
•    Data savvy
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Ability to work precisely and independently 
•    Advanced change management skills 
•    Project management experience
•    Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM, Coupa)
•    Experience using business intelligence tools (Power BI)
•    Knowledge of other tools like Dataiku/MS Azure/Tableau is a plus
•    Experience writing queries to pull and manipulate data from databases is a plus
•    Fluency in English is a must, Dutch or any additional European language skill is an advantage

Vacancy description

The scope of work includes:
•    Providing training on Power BI and related data/reporting systems
•    Give end user support on reporting & data
•    Understand data landscape/infrastructure and data interdependencies
•    Be the voice of our internal customer (the procurement organization), understanding their needs & barriers
•    Driving the Data & Analytics Community within Procurement: Teams channel, communication, engagement
•    Access management

•    Contributing to the D&A Roadmap
•    Data provision & KPI reporting
•    Implement and communicate D&A strategies and initiatives effectively
•    Monitor engagement levels and feedback from capability building sessions and community events to continually refine and enhance these initiatives
•    Advocating data-driven decision making and data literacy on a daily base
