Capability Lead Platform Engineering
The Capability Lead Platform Engineering is responsible for the delivery, operations, integration and optimisation of all the components that together comprise the D&A Platform. This entails that data management tools (incl. Azure Data Factory & Databricks) are able to successfully interact with the Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and analytical data storage (Azure SQL DB).
What we ask
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Note: Master's degrees are uncommon and not essential in this field; expertise is prioritised).
- Profound expertise in the Azure Platform/Infrastructure stack; Azure certifications: AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-303 & AZ-400 are preferred
- Skilled in the Infrastructure as code . Knowledge in Python is preferred and is highly recommended.
- Comfortable with YAML and designing, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Experience in solution architecting cloud applications within a Data & Analytics platform context and is strongly versed in the DevOps and Agile way of working.

Vacancy description
- Contribute to the platform strategy, operationalise it through innovative solution architecture designs and execution plans, and lead the initial delivery of new platform-level solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end infrastructure of the Data & Analytics Platform.
- Implement and execute integrated environment service monitoring, design and implement authorisation and access management policies, and audit compliance with these policies.
- Ensure the capability to establish lineage and provenance for every data element stored and processed in the FrieslandCampina D&A Platform(s).
- Drive tactical and operational execution of the D&A Platform strategy, reporting progress proactively to the line manager and D&A MT.
