Job Purpose:

Every day, we strife in our Germany Operating Company to improve our commercial and financial performance. The Brand Manager Chocomel and Valess is developing and implementing a strong brand strategy for Chocomel and Valess, based on ongoing customer, shopper, and market analysis, in line with our strategy and commercial plans in order to maximize value capturing in the market for the short and long term.

 

Our Purpose:

FrieslandCampina Germany is our dedicated Opco for Hard Discount and Traditional Retail, focusing on all German retailers like Lidl, Aldi, Edeka and Rewe. We are known for our brands Frico, Frau Antje, Chocomel and Valess, but we also offer several Private Label products to our German retail customers across Europe. Products like Cheese, Milk, Drinking Yoghurt, Chocolate Milk, Cream, and many others are sold to our customer to help them to deliver the highest quality to their consumer.

Brand Manager Chocomel and Valess

What we ask

  • Academic working and thinking level; master degree in (international) business, marketing, strategic management or finance
  • 5-7 years working experience, preferably within marketing, business development, sales, category management
  • Strong communication and networking skills (proficient in spoken and written English and German)
  • Proactive, result-oriented and data driven mentality
  • Strong analytical and category development skills, and proven track record in data driven improvement initiatives
  • Excellent social and influencing skills; internally and externally (at customer)
  • Dare to challenge and eager to learn self-starter
  • Understanding basic business financials
  • Proficient knowledge of PowerBI and excellent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)

Vacancy description

  • Building 360 brand plan based on product, price, promotion and placement, in close cooperation with the Global Chocomel and Valess brand team, sales and finance
  • Perform ongoing customer and market deepdives to identify key opportunities for Chocomel and Valess per customer
  • Translate customer and shopper data into actionable insights and appealing selling stories, and support sales in customer meetings to build the Chocomel and Valess brand in the German market
  • Translate Global brand strategy and category vision to customer specific strategic brand plans
  • Collaborate with Business Development to build on 3YP and 12Q for Chocomel
  • Support sales in preparation of account plans to grow the Chocomel and Valess business at our key accounts
  • Manage NPD implementation projects for Chocomel and Valess to ensure commercial acceleration and execution
  • Build 360 marketing campaigns in line with the Global Chocomel and Valess brand assets to grow the Chocomel and Valess brand in Germany
  • Manage Chocomel and Valess P&L and budgets
