Business Excellence Expert

What we ask

  • Strong understanding of business operations, industry trends and best practices related to HR Service Delivery
  • Knowledge of tools and methodologies for driving continuous improvement such as Lean Six Sigma etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in using project management methodologies and tools, budgeting, evaluation and the ability to management multiple projects or priorities 
  • Higher vocational/applied sciences or academic work and thinking level. 
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience of which 2 to 3 years in a similar role
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and systems 
  • HR Domain Knowledge
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Cultural sensitivity (ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders from different cultures) 
  • Critical thinking

Vacancy description

The purpose of the business excellence expert role in the recently established Global People Services & Solutions is to drive operational effectiveness, continuous improvement and innovation in the People Services and Solution function.

 

1. Continuous Improvement

  • Leads implementation of continuous improvement initiatives such as process improvement, lean activities, and optimizes organizational performance resulting in greater efficiency
  • Designs and provides framework for Team leads and employees to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conducts analysis of existing processes to identify areas for optimization
  • Implements and monitors process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Drives innovation and encourages the PS&S team to experiment with ideas


2. Performance Indicator Monitoring and Reporting

  • Develops and maintains a dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor HR service delivery and operational effectiveness
  • Analyzes KPI data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations
  • Provides regular updates on KPI trends and progress toward improvement goals
  • Collaborates with Team leads and process owners to address areas of concern and drive continuous improvement


3. Organizational Effectiveness and change management

  • Collaborates with Director PS&S to develop long-term strategic plans for PS&S for the region and aligns with counterparts other SSCs 
  • Conducting industry research and benchmarking on HR operations 
  • Communicates regularly with stakeholders, including process owners and PS&S Team leads to ensure alignment around strategic goals and priorities.
  • Integrates new buckets of work into PS&S aligning them with standard processes and working practices in accordance with the long-term planning of PS&S
  • Provides support and guidance to the new Teams as they adopt the new practices and way of working


4. Best Practice Implementation

  • Stays up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in HR services and operations
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage best practices to improve HR service delivery and operational effectiveness
  • Collaborates with PS&S leadership to implement best practices and new initiatives
  • Provides training and support to staff to ensure successful adoption of new practices
