RTR Team Lead (Go-to-Market)

The purpose of the Team Leader RTR role is to organize and manage own team in order to ensure proper execution and service delivery of Record to Report processes in line with corporate guidelines, internal procedures and functional goals. 
The Team Leader is also responsible to run processes in optimized way and make sure that financial reports & analysis are accurate and compliant as per procedures and legislation.

Wat we vragen

  • 6+ years of proven working experience in finance and accounting or RTR
  • Strong management skills with a minimum of 3 years people management experience spent directly developing, coaching and mentoring a team
  • Solid hands-on working knowledge to improve/transform complex integrated RtR processes
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • Shared service experience is a strong advantage
  • Excellent process knowledge for own function and thorough IFRS knowledge
  • Advanced Excel, SAP, ERP knowledge
  • Advanced English knowledge (written and spoken)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate a team when working under pressure and within tight deadlines, strong people management skills

Vacaturetekst

1. Organize, manage and optimize team on Record to report; ensure that operational KPIs, productivity and CI targets are met on team level:

  • Management of a range of day-to-day Record to Report activities with lower complexity (in terms of volume / level of standardization/ number of systems in use to support core processes), in line with corporate policies, guidelines and SLAs with OpCos.
  • Coordinates activities and prioritises tasks within limited complex context. Ensure quality and timeliness of Record to Report processes
  • Ensure process integration and strong relationships with other functions
  • Implementation of policies and guidelines regarding RTR process.
  • Monitoring of process performance and workload on a daily basis to identify actions and solutions
  • Maintaining documentation in accordance with local legislation and company policies. Contribute to the development of departmental policies and training documents
  • Ensuring of execution of tasks in line with the internal control framework. Maintain compliance with internal and external controls, regulations with the support of A&R team
  • Identifies shortcomings in current methods, systems and procedures. Analyses, proposes and (where possible) implements alternatives
  • Resolution of escalations from suppliers and OpCo's.
  • Act as first escalation point in case business enquiries
  • Cooperates mainly within own functional discipline, mainly within own FSSC. Has good understanding of interfaces with other disciplines/parties, limited interaction with OpCo's and suppliers required

2. People management:

  • Lead, coach, develop and appraise employees within the team, communicate team goals, conducts team meetings.
  • Implement a robust back up and knowledge retention plan.
  • Ensuring adequate people management for team members – having continuous dialogues and 1:1s with team members and register outcomes and feedback in relevant systems, supporting talent development, maintaining high engagement in the team and keeping team attrition low 

3. Projects and process optimization:

  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement in his/her team and meeting the CI target in his/her area and/or contributing tower level CI target. Contribute to the department process and system improvement initiatives, projects. Implement changes according to goals, objectives.
  • Acting as change leader to identify and implement changes in the RTR processes.
  • Identify bottle necks in (work) processes, provide proposals on improvement opportunities, ensure implementation after approval and track progress.
  • Lead assigned projects – promoting effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day operation.
  • Provide insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting principles.

4. Management information and strategy input:

  • Contribute to the development of the department plan based on own expertise and activities of own team.
  • Exchange knowledge/information regarding own financial knowledge with internal and external parties, within legislation and policies and procedures of own functional discipline.
  • Contribute to the development of financial policies for the assigned process within the RTR department, and (ensure) implementation and assessment of the financial (year) plan/budget for own functional team that is aligned and approved by the Manager RTR.
  • Ensures periodic reporting of financial and non-financial KPI are produced, according to defined formats and procedures in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provides insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments
