As Key Account Manager Private Label you will strategically manage and grow the private label business with ALDI by acting as the primary liaison between ALDI’s buying teams and internal stakeholders. Your role is to maintain and grow the private label business relationship in the local markets, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and category plans.
Our Purpose:
FrieslandCampina Germany is our dedicated Opco for Hard Discount and Traditional Retail, focusing on all German retailers like Lidl, Aldi, Edeka and Rewe. We are known for our brands Frico, Frau Antje, Chocomel and Valess, but we also offer several Private Label products to our German retail customers. You will be working in a friendly environment with a flat hierarchy, where we like to work hard and deliver, but fun is an important element in our job too. Wat we vragen
- At least 2-3 years recent Retail sales experience, preferably in dairy;
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English, preferably also German;
- Proven track record with customer collaboration based on excellent execution of forecasting, promo planning etc.;
- Proactive, accurate, result-oriented and data driven mentality;
- Dare to challenge and eager to learn;
- Bachelor’s degree in (International) Business, Marketing or equivalent;
- Excellent social, negotiation and influencing skills;
- Excellent knowledge of Power BI, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).

This is how your job looks like in a nutshell:
Department: Private Label / Sales
Reports to: Head of Sales ALDI
- Point of contact for defined ALDI countries regarding product developments, promotions, stock data, complaints, sales forecasting, contract management etc.;
- Gather insights and further improve our customer focus and understanding;
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors;
- Continuously analyze customer sales development, define actions and maximize new profitable business opportunities;
- Represent the customer needs during internal meetings with Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance;
- Ensure forecast accuracy targets are consistently met through proactive planning and close collaboration with Supply Chain and ALDI
- Coordinate obsoletes, monitor and strive for improvement of service level performance
- Plan and review promotions, generating learnings and improving the promotional performance
- Coordinate PL tenders
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance to ensure excellent execution
