Sales Manager

  • As the Regional Sales Manager, Encaps & Dairy Proteins Asia Pacific, you will be responsible to deliver the sales and profitability for the assigned customer accounts primarily in the Food & Beverage segment.
  • You will monitor distributor key performance indices and implement effective and efficient strategies on pricing while optimizing volume including balancing plant capacity coverage with market dynamics and customer needs.
  • You will also act as a customer advocate within the organization to ensure customer feedback is considered and acted upon, when appropriate, to continuously enhance service delivery and satisfaction.

  1. Commercial Acumen:
  • Multidisciplinary approach for strategic and developing customers.
  • Optimize end-to-end sales processes with a focus on managing both end customers and distributors with the use of CRM tools.
  • Strong in driving the Value Based Selling methodology toward team and customers
  1. Value Based Selling:
  • Understand the distributors specific business situation and challenges and demonstrate how our Encaps & Dairy Proteins solutions can help them achieve their (or their customers) goals and deal with their (or their customers) challenges.
  1. Commodity markets understanding and pricing management:
  • Understand the commodity market dynamics and be able to translate this to an effective pricing strategy and integrate this in the sales processes to drive stable profit and limited risk exposure.

  • Realize net sales, volume, and profitability of assigned distributor accounts as per targets.
  • Execute Asia-Pacific distribution management strategy as set by Regional Sales Manager Encaps & Dairy Proteins Asia-Pacific (lead) to deliver short term success and drive long term growth opportunities.
  • Responsible to keep CRM application and Sales Excellence targets up to date: e.g. customer/prospect contact, visit report, opportunity, competition and relevant information.
  • Prepare monthly business review with your customer/distributor, including market insight, competition, and segment trend.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including QA, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, to delivery seamless service and solutions.
  • Address any concerns or conflicts raised by customer promptly and striving to reach win-win resolutions.
