The Global Procurement discipline oversees all purchasing activities. The team consists of around 220 professionals from around the globe. We operate as one agile and diverse team unleashing the power of our suppliers to deliver sustainable value for all seven business groups. We aim to be strategic business partners and develop sourcing strategies based on a thorough understanding of market trends and developments. We create that strategic perspective to develop relevant and value-creating sourcing solutions (e.g. savings, innovation, sustainability, cash, etc.) for each business and/or region.

Our aim is to be the #1 (best) Procurement Team in Dairy and the best Procurement place to work!

Team Lead Source-to-Contract Kasia Pietrucka-van Rijnberk

“My current role is Team Lead Source-to-Contract (scope: Global Categories). My team collaborates with Category Procurement Managers to ensure efficient and effective sourcing process management among other responsibilities. My daily work varies, but it always centers around people, making sure they understand their expectations and have the right tools and knowledge to succeed. I love empowering others and feeling empowered myself. This comes from setting meaningful development goals, taking actions, and reflecting on the outcomes. I believe it’s a never-ending process, as we continue to develop throughout our entire lives.

Last year, I introduced a new edible gas supplier to our Lummen location, ending over 30 years of cooperation with the previous supplier. This major project, prepared and executed over several months by a multifunctional team, carried high risks as we had to halt production during the peak season, leaving almost no margin for error. I am proud how this project turned out. “
