SQM system and compliance officer
This position can be fulfilled from countries other than the Netherlands, although Amersfoort is indicated as the location.
The “SQM system and compliance officer” role has a strong involvement in ensuring compliance to the global process of Supplier Quality Management (SQM). You contribute to safeguarding FrieslandCampina’s products and brands and ensuring customer satisfaction. As part of our Global QA source team, you support the quality of the supplier database (Safefood360 & SAP), participate in the global network of Safefood360 key-users and support audit readiness regarding SQM process, SQM data and certifications.
In this role you will work in an international environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse departments like quality, procurement, and R&D.
Wat we vragen
- The ideal candidate has demonstrated ability to work with suppliers and internal cross functional teams, has effective communication skills.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific or technical discipline (Food Science, Chemistry/Microbiology, or related).
- Experience and clear affinity to digital systems and data management.
- Having knowledge of FC supplier quality management (SQM) approach including its relevant tools (e.g. Safefood360, SAP) and experienced as an (internal) auditor is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including GMP, HACCP, change control, continuous improvement, document control, root cause analysis is an advantage.
- Proactive, accurate, drive, sense of urgency

Main responsibilities are:
Supplier Audit Management
- Support, monitor and report compliance for the global SQM process.
- Support external and internal audits regarding SQM.
- Support maintenance of SQM procedures.
Supplier Database (Safefood360) System Management
- Super-user concerning management Safefood360 (user management, data management, change execution)
- Participate in network of Safefood360 key-users of all Business Groups and actively participate in Safefood360 team
- Support the maintenance of (supplier) master data in Safefood360 and monitor its quality and consistency.
SAP
- Ensure effective complaint handling process in SAP in cooperation with locations, chair the “Community of Practice”.
- Key user for supplier and intercompany complaints and inbound control in SAP, implementing inbound inspection plans based on a global model in cooperation with all locations.
Information Document, Data Management, Reporting and Others
- Ensure the availability of valid supplier certificates and statements (e.g. Halal & Kosher) in cooperation with procurement and R&D when required, implement and maintain document management within Safefood.
- Support SQM performance & compliance reporting activities and validate accuracy and data quality.
Issue management support
- Support issue management by assisting in track and trace actions and requesting statements from suppliers when needed in cooperation with procurement and R&D.
- Support development and maintenance of procedures.
